The frame spacing for a drywall partition is 600 mm (400 mm for reinforced walls): CW studs with UW tracks on floor and ceiling. Boarding is one or two layers per side — two layers give better sound insulation and stiffness. Screw consumption is ~15 pcs/m² for one layer, about 30 for two, since the first layer is fixed at wider spacing.
